"We have become a tighter group, knowing we can depend on each other..."Firewalking was definitely a positive experience for our group. At first we thought of firewalking as simply a personal challenge, but by the end of the evening we saw how it brought us closer together as a team. We cheered on another one and faced fears together as a unit. This was an incredibly valuable experience. Now we have become a tighter group, knowing we can depend on each other when needed. Firewalking is not just a physical challenge, it’s an impactful journey that leaves a long lasting impression.

"All the obstacles that were holding me back in life were written on the board..."I am a 62 year old woman and Grandmother of 6 and the oldest that attended the event. Before the event my mind was saying “AM I CRAZY?---I COULD GET HURT!” No way was I going to break a board with my hand, break and arrow with my throat or trust others to catch me as I dropped from a table. I thought I will never type again, I will be the first to go to the hospital with an arrow in my neck, and I don’t want to die that way.

Well, from the first moment I arrived at Mike’s home things were beginning to change. Mike’s charisma, calmness and genuine wanting to help us overcome boundaries relaxed me. Mike made it entertaining, with humor as well as a learning experience. I learned to give and accept compliments: that is something many people can’t or do not know how to do.

We were shouting, jumping up and down and really feeling the power of all in the room. No one held back, I trusted people I didn’t know to catch me as I dropped from a table straight back; at first it was frightening but Mike with his gift of walking people through their fears alowed me to have an experience I will cherish for ever. It actually, felt pretty good: I was on a cloud for a few seconds.

Now came the board breaking,. All the obstacles that were holding me back in life were written on the board I was about to break with my hand. Yes, this little tiny hand wanted to breaks through barriers. With my determination and support from the group I broke that board with pride.

Now the arrow, yes a pinch to the neck but I focused and said let it be easy and it cracked in three pieces. Let me tell you I jumped up and down and said

“I AM WOMAN!!!!!”

AND FEEL NOW I CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING I PUT MY MIND TO!

I Just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to experience the empowerment event, this was the best event I ever attended. I knew everyone at this event but even if I didn't I would have known them when I left. Instead of sitting at home watching TV I built self-esteem, confidence and focus. There was an incredible amount of positive energy in the room the entire night it was electric.

The way the evening was set up it started with the trust exercise. Standing on the table and falling backward was the hardest exercise for me. I al ways found it hard to put all my trust in too many people and seconds after I am still cautious but trust more.The next event was breaking through a board after using the board to symbolize all our barriers and future goals. Since then I have accomplished some of my short-term goals and the long-term goals will happen as planned.The next event was the breaking of an arrow on my neck. Now I would of considered this impossible but towards the end of the evening I realized nothing is impossible with the right frame of mind.

Not only did I walk away with an incredible feeling of confidence but others I knew for years feeling the same. This event brought us closer together than ever before. Every ones look and feeling of confidence at the end of the evening was overwhelming.

It was a shame that we missed out on the fire walk but I truly believe there was a reason we didn't do it that night. I also realized there wasn't one person that was there that night that isn't looking forward to the fire walk and can't wait until we do it.

I am looking forward to future events and I have several friends that I have told about this event who could use the self-confidence and focus.

"I learned so much about myself in such a short amount of time."Everything I experienced enlightened me to a new inner strength. Only you can understand what you are looking to accomplish. My inner voice has been screaming to come alive for a long time. I needed to overcome and break some barriers that at times hold me back from the smallest things in life to the greatest. It's the simplest things in life that are extraordinary. All who look and search for more and it's right in front of you all along. Nobody can tell you who you are. You have to experience it for yourself. As a woman I walked away with a great sense of accomplishment. It was great to see how strong I really am. When you put your mind to it you can achieve anything.

The first event was Board Breaking. All your emotions placed into a single object. I enjoyed this event the most, it was what the board stood for. To break through it and to leave it all behind. What a great feeling. I felt nothing but great satisfaction.

The Compliment exercise was awkward at first but very enjoyable at the end. You do not want it to end. I walked away feeling a lot taller. To be able to give and receive praise is the way I want to continue my life. To see the tears and smiles on the peoples faces made it all worth it.

The Trust exercise you have to rely on all who is around. You can not accomplish this alone. Not easy for me because my personality is I would rather do it myself. It was a great feeling, a free feeling to just let yourself go.

The Arrow Breaking was difficult to see take place but much easier to do. I saw the men do it and said "they are so much bigger and stronger than I am". My entire body trembled as it came to my turn. As a female this was a great task to overcome. I placed so much of my energy and concentration on this I didn't feel a thing. I can not remember what it felt like. But to see my arrow break apart into three different pieces is something I will remember forever.

I walked away from this event so much stronger then I ever was. I do not mean with physical strength it's the inner strength that makes me who I am. I received a rush of life. To feel so alive made it all worth it. I woke the next day refreshed in body, mind and spirit. I will be empowered to move forward confidently into life. With no great effort required, I just let my mind live.
